Me basic facts maths achevement

 

 Basketball

On Saturday, me, Lana and Aroha went to our aunty´s house. 

First she took us to basketball. It was so fun and I really liked basketball. I was not supposed to play but I did. 

Next we went home. We had dinner. 

For dinner we had butter chicken. It was so delicious. 

After that we got to play on the ipad. I like to watch all sorts of videos because they are funny  and Aroha likes to watch cats and dog videos because they are funny as well.

Finally we went to bed but I did not want to go to bed.

On Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday afternoon me and my family went to Palmerston North and from there we went to a swimming place called Lido. First me and mum went to the green and white slide.

It was so fast and me and my mum screamed but it was very fun when we went there again because on the second time we were used to it.

Then me and my dad went down and I did not scream but my dad did. It was very loud. After that I saw a very steep slide so I went down and when I went down I bit my bottom lip because I was very scared.

Then we went to the water park. There was water all over and there was a little water slide.  

I really enjoyed my day. It was awesome.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

My Motherś Day Gift.

 I made a beautiful gift box and card for my Mum  for Motherś Day.

I used chalk and paint to create my favourite cat then I used coloured paper to weave a mat for my cat.

 

Cooking Chocolate and coconut Balls.

 I made some sweet delicious  Chocolate and Coconut Balls for my Mum for Mother's Day.

The water cycle.

The water cycle is the way water moves around the earth. The water in rivers, oceans and lakes is heated up by the sun. The liquid water evaporates and turns into a gas. The gas is called water vapor.  Then the gas goes up into the air and forms into a cloud. Inside the cloud the gas turns back into liquid water and it moves around in the cloud. Then the cloud gets too heavy and the liquid water falls back to the earth. Then the cycle starts again.The water that we are drinking now is the same water that dinosaurs drank 1000s of years ago. 

Why is the water cycle important to the earth?

The water cycle is important to the earth because water can keep plants and people alive. So if the water cycle stops, the results will be that we will have no rain and no water. 

So then everyone on earth will die. 

So therefore to make sure every living thing on earth keeps living, the water cycle has to keep moving and working.

So thats why the water cycle is important to the earth.

Recount Writing -Whaea Diane´s Visit.

Whaea Diane´s Visit.

Yesterday Whaea Diane came to talk to our class about Maths. First Whaea Diane showed us a 120´s board. We used it to count in tens. After that Whaea Diane split us into groups to count in tens. Next  Whaea Diane wrote a number on the board and we needed to say sentences about the number. The number she chose was 36. We said a lot of sentences about 36. First Taria said that 36 is a 2 digit number. Then we got split back into groups to sort out green cards with numbers on them. It was so hard to sort them out  because we did not know how to sort  them out but we had a few ideas. It was kind of difficult to put them into groups. Finally Whaea Diane showed us the video that she took of us but when we watched the video we couldn't hear anything. Mrs Paraha was not so impressed with how we were listening because we were not listening at all to Whaea Diane.

I was so happy because I was jumping up and down and I was as happy as a clown. I had a huge smile on my face and then we said bye to Whaea Diane and she left. I had so much fun with Whaea Diane.

On Saturday morning me, Chris, Joseph, Papa Joe, mum and dad went to nana´s tangi to bury her. But apparently dad could not dig the hole. Papa was so exhausted from putting all of the tents up. Mum could not help because she was cooking the friedbread. So papa called one of his friends to bring his digger. When he got there papa asked him if he could dig the hole. So he started digging the hole . He finished digging the hole.  He was going to leave. But papa said to stay for lunch, so he did. 

After lunch we went to sing songs to Nana. Finally we were going home and papa said that we are going to come back tomorrow. But I did not want to leave because I had a lot of fun with the other kids. It was so so fun. Papa said that we could stay there for another hour.  So papa could go sing a song to nana. When papa was ready to go I was too because I was so tired as well.

In the morning we went back to nana´s tangi like papa said. I was so excited to go back so we jumped into the car and left. When we got to where we had nana´s tangi all of the kids that we played with  yesterday were there. So we started to play. We got the ball and we played stingball and Chris was in. We played for an hour then we went to bury nana. After we buried nana we went to have lunch. After lunch we all cleaned up and then went home. I had a lot of fun.
