Whaea Diane´s Visit.

Yesterday Whaea Diane came to talk to our class about Maths. First Whaea Diane showed us a 120´s board. We used it to count in tens. After that Whaea Diane split us into groups to count in tens. Next  Whaea Diane wrote a number on the board and we needed to say sentences about the number. The number she chose was 36. We said a lot of sentences about 36. First Taria said that 36 is a 2 digit number. Then we got split back into groups to sort out green cards with numbers on them. It was so hard to sort them out  because we did not know how to sort  them out but we had a few ideas. It was kind of difficult to put them into groups. Finally Whaea Diane showed us the video that she took of us but when we watched the video we couldn't hear anything. Mrs Paraha was not so impressed with how we were listening because we were not listening at all to Whaea Diane.

I was so happy because I was jumping up and down and I was as happy as a clown. I had a huge smile on my face and then we said bye to Whaea Diane and she left. I had so much fun with Whaea Diane.
