about planting little seedling.

I found it easy to put the plant into the soil
I found it hard to hold the plant and put the soil around it.
I really enjoyed  watering the plant evrey day
Next time I need to put the soil around it.

 

Recount Writing - At Kohewhata.

WALT make our writing interesting for our readers. 

 On Friday I drove to Kohewhata with Papa and Joseph to cut up a pig up because there were a lot of people at the marae to feed. First me and papa drove to get the pig but when we got back to the marae we opened the boot and most of the little kids were really afraid of the pig. 

The babies even started to cry. I thought the pig was a bit frightened as well.

I was so excited. I was jumping up and down and my eyes were wide open. I had a big huge smile on my face.

Next I played bullrush with all the kids but not the baby because they would just get pushed over. We had a blast. It was so epic and  amazing. All the other kids thought that was really cool and amazing as well.

After that we went inside. When we went inside the light’s went off.  Papa and Joseph went to check the power box. Papa did not know what to do. So he told an electricity man to fix the power box. It was so amazing because Papa Joe's friend came with some kina and oysters. They looked so deelishis and so yummy. Papa thought they looked  yummy as well. I was so excited to eat the yummy and delicious kina and oysters .

Papa asked me if I wanted to have one of the delicious   kina and oysters. I said no because I was not hungry. 

I wanted to go to play with the other kids. We were going to play hide and go seek, apparently I got found first. So in the next round I was in but I found my brother first and then my brother was in.

We had a great game. It was so much fun.

I enjoyed my day at the marae.

I would love to tell you what I have learnt about sound.

I have learnt that sound is energy and power like light and electricity. I have learnt that there are little molecules in the air but they are invisible that is why we can not see them. 

I have also learnt that when something vibrates, sound waves carry the sound to your ear. 

When you make a sound the vibrations move the air molecules and they bump into each other. That's what makes the sound wave that carries the sound to your ear.

The sound goes to your eardrum and then the message is sent to your brain. Your brain tells you what the sound is.

That’s how we hear sound.

Recount writing: On Saturday

 WALT to use the correct structure and language in our writing.
On Saturday afternoon. 

On Saturday afternoon we went to the Warehouse in Kaikohe to get shoes for Chris and me. I went with my mum and Chris. 

I was so excited because I knew exactly which shoes I wanted.

I needed new shoes because my shoes were broken but I got them from a different shop. 

First we went to the shoe aisle to get the right shoes. Chris got black shoes and I got pink and black shoes. Chris said he liked his shoes a lot. I thought his shoes were really amazing. My shoes were cool as well. 

Next we went to Mc Donald’s. I got chicken nuggets and Chris got a burger. My nuggets were so yummy and delicious. For a drink I got a frozen coke and Chris got a fanta. 

After that we went to Countdown to get bread and milk. Me and Chris got some chocolate. It was so good and delicious.

Then we went back home. But we had to go back to countdown again to get macaroni and cheese and bacon to make macaroni and cheese. Joseph said it was so yummy and very delicious. Chris said it was so amazing and very joyful.

Finally we went home I was quite sad because the fun was over.

When we got home I was happy and excited I was jumping up and down.

On Monday morning me and my brothers and my mum and my dad stayed at home. We watched a lot of Netflix. First we watched the Lego

movie. My brother Chris liked the skeletons in the Lego movie the most. That movie was so amazing because it had a lot of funny skeletons in it. My brothers would not stop laughing. 

Next we went for a ride on our bike. We rode to the shop and we got some yummy lollies. The lollies were amazing. We put them in our bag. We got our lollies from the Z Petrol  Station.

After that we went home and we had race on our bike. Joseph came in 1st place. Chris came in 2nd place and I came in 3rd.

On Saturday morning me and my family went to Tautoro to see Nana Hana and to play with my cousins.
First we played on the scooters. We rode on the rocks on the driveway. It was so bumpy I felt so dizzy.
Next we climbed up the tree. It was so scary because we were so high so we got down.
Then we dug a big hole down by the fence and we had a lot of dirt so we made three dirt mountains. We had a joyful time. We put some flowers and some rocks on the top of the hole. But we were so dirty so we went inside to get changed. We all had a shower.
After that we went to a big paddock to pick some mushrooms. Most of them were light brown. We got 4 big bins of tasty mushrooms. We put the mushrooms on the table and we started cleaning them.
Later on we took some mushrooms to some people because we had too many.
Finally my mum cooked them. It smelt so yummy. We had
Mushroom sauce and mash potato and steak.
Everything was so amazing and yummy.
We were learning abuot recount writing.
We were learning  recount writing on Chromebook .
I found it easy to... say who I went with.
I found it hard to...put a lot of poppy words in.
I really enjoyed...Doing recounts on chromebooks.
Next time I need to… Hurry up with my work.

First, I went on the bumpy slide. 
It was really bumpy.  

I giggled until we got to the bottom.  

Next, I went on the slippery monkey bars.  

They made me slip off.  

Then I went on the wobbly bridge. 
It was so wobbly I almost fell all the
way on the ground.  

Finally, my mum took me home.  I felt joyful.

Then they started to fight.

So the Maori chiefs sent 

the king a note.

The King sent William Hobson

and James Busby to help.

They talked to the chiefs.

Then they wrote the Treaty.

Then they went around 

Letting the chiefs sign the Treaty.

They all agreed to take care of NZ.
